  I have been here often and never had a problem until one night when my pump stopped working as I was getting gas. I went inside because i didn't know how to change pumps and I was greeted by an incredibly rude man. He refused to listen to me, cut me off mid sentence, and was so short with me you would have thought I had insulted him personally or something. I did end up changing pumps but I was so frustrated I went back to inform him of his offensive attitude, and instead of listening to me he, again, cut me off. I complained to corporate and I will not get gas or anything else from there while that man is still employed. I was also informed by a friend that this same employee has overcharged her and then refused to give her money back. To say the least avoid the man who wear the wife beater and open baseball shirt.

  This 7 Eleven does not support Military families. On the Corporate website, it stated "This Veteran’s Day 7-Eleven, Inc. is saluting active, veteran and retired U.S. military personnel and their families with free, small Slurpee® drinks between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m." When I arrived at the 7 Eleven on Douglas Drive, in Oceanside,CA the store clerk told me that they weren't participating in Veterans Day this year. Seriously?!? So I decided to try this 7 eleven, on Frazee Road. When I asked them about it, I was told they weren't participating either. My kids were crushed. The entire ride over, I talked about how awesome it was that there were businesses that wanted to say thank you to military families for their sacrifices by giving them a special treat and how important it was the make sure to say thank you back. On the ride home, we had to talk about why a store would choose to "be so mean," as my 5 year old stated. Way to go Southern California 7 eleven locations. It's too bad that the Military can't selectively choose who receives the benefits of their sacrifices.
